Patricia's family would like to invite you to a memorial ceremony in her honour

on Friday, 28th March 2014 at 17h00 at the Chapelle Royale, Brussels.

​


Patricia was an inspiration to many and in particular, Melanoma patients and their families across Europe and the world.

The Melanoma Independent Community Advisory board was founded due to her initiative and driven by her unwavering determination not to accept situations that she perceived as unfair and unnecessarily cruel for patients like herself.

​In that, Patricia insisted that any approach needed to be result-driven, constructive, collaborative and respectful towards all parties involved which earned her the respect and admiration of many.

Despite her own personal struggle with Melanoma, Patricia always had a heart and the energy to help others. She did not only fight to gain access to promising therapies for herself but also for others and her determination and fighting spirit not to simply give in in a dire fate were inspirational. Patricia had her own personal mix of temperament, optimism and joy of life- and we miss her dearly.


If you would like to pay your tribute to a person who touched many lives, please join us in Brussels for an in memoriam ceremony for Patricia. Transfer from the hotel to the ceremony and later to the dinner will be organised.
